The Petro Jacyk Education Foundation is a charitable organization, established in 1986 by an endowment from Ukrainian born Toronto businessman and philanthropist, Peter (Petro) Jacyk.

FOUNDER'S MESSAGE

At the time that I was formulating the principles of my Foundation, I attempted to look toward the future in redefining the traditional Ukrainian viewpoint.

TRIBUTE DONATION

In 1997, for the first time in its history, the Petro Jacyk Education Foundation invited individuals and institutions interested in supporting Ukrainian history and language, to join in its work by establishing their permanent Named Funds.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Foundation's primary objective is to develop a network of educational programs and academic centers in world renowned universities devoted to the scholarly interpretation and dissemination of objective information about Ukraine and Ukrainians as well as sponsoring other initiatives which contribute to the promotion of international awareness of Ukraine and its people.

HOW CAN YOU HELP
